Why Should I Push Back?
Ephesians 6:18
Paul instructs the believers to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests, and to be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
1 Samuel 12:23
Samuel tells the people of Israel that he will not sin against the Lord by failing to pray for them, and that he will teach them the way that is good and right.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Praying, voting believers bear the responsibility for both righteous and unrighteous laws of the land. It is our divine duty to intercede, repent, and humbly seek the Lord's guidance for our nation. This collective action is essential as we unite as a local body to fulfill our role in shaping the destiny of our society.

We're tasked to earnestly pray for all leaders, setting aside personal feelings. A unified group of intercessors hold the potential to guide the government's actions in accordance with God's will, often influencing them without prior knowledge!

God told Israel in Babylon to pray for their captors’ city “Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

1 Peter 1:1
We are also exiles in the world. Without prayer, we may fear or tire of the culture, and only pray for ourselves. But Jeremiah urges us to pray for and bless our neighbors, because God wants it, and because it helps God’s people and the gospel.
