Psalms 23 ESV
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
What does a depleted soul look like?
“Soul Sick”
An inability to deal with internal or external stress.
“the giving-up—given-up complex”
What causes a depleted soul?
What are the consequences of a depleted soul?
We become barren.
We no longer have the capacity to procreate with God.
God wants me to thrive in the earth for His glory.
How can my soul be restored again?
Psalms 6:2-10 ESV
My soul is also greatly troubled. But you, O LORD, how long?
Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me, for the sake of your steadfast love. For in death, there is no remembrance of you; in hell, who will give you praise?
I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows week because of all of my foes. Depart from me, all you, workers of evil, for The LORD has heard the sound of my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer.
What is my responsibility?
A. My responsibility is to ask in faith, believing that He is an amazing shepherd that loves His sheep.
B. It’s also our responsibility to set aside time to seek Him and to allow Him TIME to do the work.
The longer we ignore it, the more it costs.
Psalms 139 ESV
Verses 1-3
Oh, Lord, you have searched me and know me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and you are acquainted with all my ways.
Verses 13-18
You formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them: the days that were formed for me: when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, oh, God! (Towards me)
If I could count them, they are more than the sand.
What is my responsibility?
We must set time aside to go through His restoration process.

Psalms 124 KJV
2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
