shapes who you really are.

To believe is "to accept something as true;

feel sure of the truth of."

John 3:16

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus loves me; this I know!

I believe God Loves Me.

I believe God knows Me.

I believe God is Good.

1.  I Believe God Loves Me

There is a difference between someone telling us that God loves us and us actually living life - loved by God.

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

1 John 4:10

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

2. I believe God knows me.

Psalm 139

1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.

2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down;

you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue- you, Lord, know it completely.

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb.

16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

17  How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!

18  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.  When I awake, I am still with you.

You can serve Him and not know Him.
